PEBB Open Enrollment

Open enrollment (OE) for the 2026 plan year is Monday, October 27 through Monday, November 24, 2025. Changes submitted during OE are effective January 1, 2026.  The following resources are available to help you make your 2026 enrollment decisions:

2026 Changes include: 

  • Two UMP/Regence medical plans will no longer be offered.  

    If you are enrolled in one of the following plans, you must choose a new plan during open enrollment, or you (and your enrolled dependents) will be automatically enrolled in UMP Classic:

    • UMP Plus–Puget Sound High Value Network (PSHVN) and,
    • UMP Plus–UW Medicine Accountable Care Network (ACN)
  • Flexible Spending Arrangements (FSAs)

    • Annual pledge maximum increases to $3,300
    • The Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) FSA benefit increases from $250 to $300.  The income limit for eligibility also increases to $68,004.
  • Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP)

    • The annual pledge maximum increases to $7,500 for a single person or married couple filing jointly and $3,750 for each married person if filing separately.
  • Deductible for consumer-directed health plans (CDHP) & Health Savings Account (HSA)

    • The IRS has raised the minimum deductible for CDHPs to $1,700 for employee-only coverage and $3,400 for families.  The annual maximum HSA contributions increases to $4,400 for employee-only coverage and $8,75o for families.
  • Long-term disability (LTD) Insurance

    • Employer-paid LTD: The monthly benefit for basic (Highline-paid) LTD insurance will increase to $450. This benefit is offered at no cost to all PEBB-eligible employees.
    • Employee-paid LTD rates will decrease by 6 percent.

Making Changes during Open Enrollment?

  • All changes must be submitted no earlier than October 27, 2025 and no later than 11:59 pm, November 24, 2025.

Visit the PEBB open enrollment website for more information. Also, be on the lookout for mailings from PEBB and emails from the benefits office throughout October and November.
